Fabulous G-Market Haul

So a week ago, my haul from G-market came. Surprisingly, it came in three days. THREE FLIPPIN DAYS!!! Amazing! That is, after the sellers sent the items to the G-market facility. Overall, I spent approximately 150 dollars (shipping included).

I got two bags, a pair of booties, two men's jackets, and a pair of high waisted jeans. I didn't take photo of the said jeans because they were suffocating me to say the least. A word of advice for those ordering online, make sure not to get S-M-L sizes for pants. I have a few pair of pants in L that are a bit loose but for some reason, these were TINY! I wear a size 28 (a bit loose) and still I could barely breathe after buttoning! Ridiculous! But aside from that, I'm pretty content with my order. Six items for 150 seems more than fair. And here are some photos of us modeling our new buys!

Awwwww! The jackets look like they were made for Aaron! Overall, for the price, the items were an okay condition. However, the real steal is the men's jackets! We've tried ordering some jackets from eBay and the quality looked as though blind babies stitched it. The seams were not reinforced and the fabric looked like it was rejected satin from a Rocky Horror Picture Show costume. Not these! The material looked exactly like the stock photo (if not better) and they were fairly heavy. At 40$ each, these are the real steal! The bags and the boots were, as I expected, cheap but paying around 15-20 dollars per item, I can't really argue.

Until Next Time,
Mint

P.S. (edit) IF YOU GUYS JUST SIGN UP FOR G-MARKET REMEMBER TO GET A NEWCOMER COUPON! I signed up on the 29th, applied the coupon on the 3rd or something and IT DID NOT WORK SINCE IT WAS NOT IN THE SAME MONTH *shakes fist*

Alex & Chloe x Forever21 Jewelry Line

I usually don't really care for designer collaborations with retail shops but when I saw the jewelry line Alex & Chloe made with Forever 21, I was sold. I love their gothic motifs and just general badass yet dangerously-simple design. At first, I didn't know how I felt about the bling on it, fearing it would be overly gaudy to say the least but it definitely adds contrast to the matte finish. Quality wise, although all these pieces feel extremely heavy, its definitely Forever 21 quality. You get what you pay for and I have no complaints at all! I'm not sure how sold out it is but a lot of Forever 21's did not have them in stock even in San Fran and I have a feeling that it wasn't because everyone was diving them get 'em. Underhyped much?

Outfit of the day with the jewelry. I love that obesity & speed tank dress to death! I don't know if you can tell but I'm wearing my new gorgeous lenses which will reviewed next entry :).

Feather Ear Cuffs and ETC.

So back to regular updates. A while back, Felicia at http://theseprettythings.bigcartel.com/ sent me this beautiful feather earcuff she made herself. To be honest, I expected some small cuffs but what she sent me was HUGE AND FLUFFY! And you guys all know how much I love big things (LOL)-- big jewelry, big hair, big make-up! The quality of this cuff is really really superb. Soft to the touch and yet durable enough to withstand everyday wear. Plus it looks flipping hot!! I've already worn it out a bajillion times so you'll be sure to see it in some outfit shots :)

Some other photos of some recent or not so recent buys and food porn. I bought all this cute jewelry on ebay only to realize they looked eerily similar to some Betsey Johnson. It didn't mention anything about Betsey Johnson but I'm still kind of iffy about wearing it... BUT THEY ARE SO CUTE!!! Anyways,  It was my boyfriend's graduation yesterday so we pigged out on all this delicious sushi. Live uni, blue fin toro, hamachi toro oh my god I'm drooling from last night's meal!!

Cheapo Buys: Daiso & E.L.F. Mini Haul

Outfit photo! So for some reason, I've been getting really really bad eye infections lately. Therefore, no photos or going out or generally having fun for quite some time! But anyways, enjoy my Sexy Dynamite London shirt with two girls getting it on (haha!!)  And my all-time favorite kickass boots are making a comeback! After promising myself that I'd bring them to the shoe shop, I finally did and.. Did I mention how awesome they came out? I didn't even recognize them! I went in for a heel replacement and they completely fixed the scratched off leather parts!!

Awww yeah some cheap buys from Daiso. I think the best buys were the furry socks and earmuffs. When in doubt, always go for the fur! The socks feel as though I'm squishing my sore and tired feet on a newborn baby's behind (not that I would do that in real life) and the earmuffs surprisingly go with almost everything... Almost!!

Some things I bought from Eyes Lips Face (E.L.F.) For some reason I've been feeling like a crazy orange coral lady lately and I've been trying to find a cheap orange lipstick. Cheap being I'm sure this orange phase won't last and I'll be stuck with an assortment of very expensive orange lip colors. Here I bought  Nailpolish in Mango Madness, Bubblegum Pink, Teal Blue, Lipstick in Captivating & Seductive, Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder, Blush in Candid Coral, Studio Matte Lip Color in Coral.

I've reached the conclusion that their regular lipsticks are pure shit. Aside from tasting quite sweet, It just feels... cheap. Kind of like those lipsticks you buy as a child. I'm not one of those crazy ladies on T.V. that obsessively eats lipstick so no brownie points on taste and def. not gonna repurchase. Also, the colors on the lipsticks never match the site because I'm sure E.L.F. photoshops the same lipstick multiple colors.

Their blushes are the things you should look out for! They are pretty sheer but can be pigmented when packed on. The blush color in the bronzer blush combo actually looks like a dupe of NARS orgasm and I prefer it to orgasm :) Also, that matte lip color is def. my "my lips but better" lipstick as of now.

LONG STORY SHORT. Dont buy the cheapo lipsticks, and go for the blush! At 3 dollars a pop, you can't lose. Next up will be badass jewelry & an updated  awww yeahhh!!!

Revlon Colorstay, Wetwild Palette, Maybelline Colossal Volume Express

So a few days ago, I had to restock on some essentials. My old mascara (beloved Kate Volume) was bought a year ago (gross. how unsanitary) & its time for it to retire! My foundation has also been overused so I cleaned out my make-up thoroughly, went on my way to CVS, & bought Revlon's Colorstay in Buff (I actually bought the oily skin formula & had to return it for the dry skin one), Wet & Wild Palette in Vanity, & Maybelline Colossal Volume Express Mascara.

First up, Maybelline's Colossal Volume Express didn't really wow me as much as I hoped. Its certainly a great mascara but it doesn't make my lashes thick enough. Yes on length no on volume. Also, I'm a fan of the curvy brushes and this brush makes me smear if I'm not careful. Its waterproof so it takes a LOT to really take this mascara off (more than my other waterproof mascaras). As a disclaimer, you need to work really fast with this mascara as its hard to layer after it dries. Minimal clump though (not that I care. I actually think some clumps on the lower lash are cute.)

As for the Wet & Wild palette. Its AMAZING!! I needed a small palette after brutally killing my majorca majolica one. I really really love this palette as it has three true mattes & three shimmers. I use the matte side way more often but its seriously a great deal. I opted for Vanity because it was all neutrals (my everyday colors) Only downside is theres no mirror but I can't complain, Wet & Wild.

The Revlon Colorstay foundation really lives up to its hype. However, I noticed that the formula for dry skin is a bit darker than the formula for oily skin. Not really a big problem but something to take into consideration. The only thing I think it can improve is the packaging with a pump. It makes my skin look completely flawless and for 13 dollars, you can't beat the price. For people who are afraid of streaking, you can always mix a bit of moisturizer with this for your everyday look. I have noticed I'm getting a bit of minor blemishes but its too soon to tell if its a direct cause of the foundation or if I'm just breaking out from other things (not getting enough sleep, hormonal imbalance, etc.)

Until Next Time,
Mint.

P.s. My hair is brown now! Pics for next post :) :)
